In, recent years, CBD gummies have become a popular way for people to cope with issues ranging from chronic pain to drug withdrawals. Some people also use CBD gummies for anxiety. But exactly what are they? Are they legal? How many should you take? And do they really alleviate anxiety?

around for millennia. Case studies in India from a thousand years ago documented CBD’s anxiety-
relieving properties, and soldiers with PTSD have been known to use CBD-rich marijuana to treat
their symptoms.

Although CBD’s effectiveness treating anxiety needs to be explored more, so far, CBD gummies may
prove to be a tasty, discreet, safe alternative to traditional anti-anxiety medications.

Are CBD Gummies Legal?

CBD that comes from hemp is legal across the US, although it isn’t legal in some states. On the other hand, CBD that comes from marijuana is against federal law, but legal in some states. Moral of the story: looking into your state’s laws is probably a good idea.

If you decide you’d like to try CBD gummies, how many you should take ultimately depends on how
much you weigh. However, there are a few guidelines you can use starting out:

    night.
  • Pure Kana, a CBD merchant, recommends starting with half a 25 mg gummy and working
    your way up.
  • The Depression Alliance suggests starting with 20 to 40 mg of CBD a day and adjusting
    accordingly.

In other words, how many you should take depends on who you are and how severe your anxiety is.

Obviously, there’s evidence that CBD gummies can be an effective treatment for anxiety, but taking
